On 29 September, The Travel Club officially opened its doors to the international Travel & Tourism industry by holding a prestigious party and inviting senior management to attend. The Party was hosted by Tom Nutley, Managing Director of The Travel Club, together with Conrad Blakely, Chairman of The In & Out.

In June, The Travel Club was delighted to welcome its first Club Patrons and are honoured that these include Mr Taleb Rifai, Secretary General ad interim of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Lord Pendry, Former Shadow Minister for Sport and Tourism, Greg Duffell, President and CEO of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Jean-Claude Baumgarten, President of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and Keshini Navaratnam, Managing Director of strategic communications consultancy Alexandrite and Former respected BBC TV presenter and journalist.
